If you’ve come from the Blogger’s Quilt Festival, hello and welcome! My name is Carla and I’ve been quilting for about eight months now. I’m really enjoying it, and I’m thrilled to be participating in my first Blogger’s Quilt Festival!
My entry is Kaleidoscope, a quilt made for two friends from college and their baby, due in just a couple of weeks. I’m entering it into the baby quilt category.
Pattern: Kaleidoscope, paper pieced variation.
Fabric: A huge mix of scraps, swaps, and some fabric bought specifically for the project but predominately low volume backgrounds and red/orange/yellow foreground including Shelburne Falls, Notthing hill, 3 Sisters for Moda, Martha Negley Feathers, and many, many more. It is backed with IKEA numbers and bound in Essex Linen in Carrot.
Measurements: Approximately 42″ x 54″
Quilted by: me!
Thanks again for stopping by! Please come back again soon, or follow me in your RSS reader!
